Research suggests that children
eighteen months through thirty-six months develop the majority
of their cognitive skills that will carry over throughout their
entire academic careers.
The Woodlands Young Learner’s
Academy Educational Programming Department has created a curriculum
using that development theory. The
Early Learner’s™ curriculum incorporates age-specific
learning milestones, an introduction to TWYLA Writer's,
learning-readiness activities through a challenging and rewarding
program that encourages key reading, math, science, social, emotional,
motor, and pre-writing skills that encourages TWYLA’s Early
Learner’s™ intuitive
need to discover, explore, and investigate, while promoting confidence,
peer-interaction, and social awareness.
Early Learner’s are extraordinary
students who maintain incredible amounts of energy coupled
with a zeal for new adventures and discoveries. Recognizing
this, our state-of-the-art designed classrooms and curriculum
offer a boundless environment to embrace and encourage these
characteristics.
