COMPUTER EXPLORERS is a nationally and internationally recognized expert in computer and technology education since 1984. Locally based in Spring, Texas since 2004 and serving schools in Tomball, Spring, Conroe, Humble, Kingwood and The Woodlands.

COMPUTER EXPLORERS is very proud to be providing its world-class technology solutions to The Woodlands Young Learners Academy beginning in the fall of 2007.  

COMPUTER EXPLORERS teaches many aspects of technology to children from ages 2 to 16 and also has adult programs available. The technology areas covered for preschoolers include:

  • Computer education – how to use the computer as a tool (integrated into the preschool’s core curriculum)
  • Robotics programming
  • Electronic microscopes
  • Digital photography, and much more!

Its world-class curriculum is developed by Educators for Educators and is, they believe, the best that is available in the World today.

Parents will regularly receive information that explains what their children have been learning. There are even suggestions for some things that they can do with their children to help reinforce the concepts! This attention to detail helps to set The Woodlands Young Learner’s Academy aside from the other schools in the area.

COMPUTER EXPLORERS will be offering its TechStars after-school and summer/holiday programs at The Woodlands Young Learner’s Academy, covering subjects such as Digital Photography, Digital Moviemaking, Engineering, Robotics, programming, academic courses, Digital/Graphic Arts, Office Skills, and much, much more! There are programs available for preschool and school age children.

COMPUTER EXPLORERS’ extensive programs also include Kindergarten Advantage!; a unique 36 week lab-based program where the Kindergartener is prepared for first grade in the best possible way. From First through Eighth Grade and above, COMPUTER EXPLORERS offers project-based computer applications training using the latest software products. Students will soon be using computers to produce stunning reports and presentations, and numerous other projects to help with their grades in other core subjects as well as in Technology.
